John Ryan Pike Musical Collection
John left us with over 400 recordings on a personal mixer. Since his death we have carefully had them mastered by a professional engineer who John was very fond of and who he had worked with on Ra Ra Riot's EP. As John's collection is quite numerous and the pieces are in varying stages of development; some of which understandably unfinished, we have thoughtfully selected various songs we plan to release. We plan to release the first of these songs as a single at the Roller Party on November 26th and for sale online shortly after.
One of John's favorite aspects of the musical process was collaboration. It is our hope to one day have other musicians collaborate with selected pieces of John work to create a full length tribute album to benefit the memorial fund.
